The experience and expertise of the team was further enriched during 2011 when the FLB merged with Foreman & Hill, a firm of Chartered Accountants who have been providing proactive accounting and taxation services to owner managed business throughout the Thames Valley and London for the past 50 years.

Meet the partners
The two partners are supported by a team of professionally qualified staff and senior consultants.
Danny is one of the founding partners of FLB and has over 25 years’ experience in professional practice.
He has an excellent reputation within the Thames Valley, which is founded on his ability to build long term relationships and to work with his clients in a proactive manner.
Danny specialises in advising dynamic owner-managed businesses of all sizes. A key aspect to this is the provision of joined up advice in respect of both business and personal tax planning opportunities.
Danny also works closely with a growing number of clients providing commercial financial advice at board level. Providing solutions to maximise efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Outside of work Danny is dedicated to his young family. Danny is a full time chauffeur to his two boys and part-time farmhand to his wife.
Gary is one of the founding partners of FLB and was only 25 when he partnered with others to form the practice. Gary is well known for quickly grasping the detail behind his client’s businesses and for ensuring that his accountancy advice is as relevant from a commercial point of view as it is a technical.
Although his portfolio of clients covers a wide spectrum of business, Gary maintains a focus on companies on a fast growth trajectory. Client feedback across sectors as diverse as, recruitment, IT, construction and healthcare show that they appreciate Gary’s methodical and straight talking approach to business.
With a focus on Business Support Services Gary maintains a hands on approach to his clients whether it be book keeping reviews, or, providing advice to the board of directors and as such the majority of his time is spent with this clients.
Outside of work Gary enjoys (sometimes!) engaging in his passion for golf, walking his dogs and networking with friends and business acquaintances alike.

Our Business Support Services team provides clients with the full range of accounting and back office services, including bookkeeping, accounts preparation, management accounting, VAT compliance, forecasting and budgeting as well as a range of ad-hoc services to meet the needs of our clients.
As a Trainee Accountant you will receive on the job training as well as structured training whilst gaining a formal qualification through AAT for school leavers or ACA/ACCA for graduates.This is a long term career opportunity for the right candidate to progress within a successful business. Our Trainees are involved in a range of duties including:
- The completion of year-end accounts, CT600, and Corporation Tax computations
- Completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Co-ordination and management of payroll, VAT, and administration duties
- Completting returns for VAT, Payroll, Statutory Accounts, Company and Personal Tax
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Taking on and managing new clients
- Respond to client enquiries in line with the company guarantee policy
- Supporting the team to continuously deliver the agreed level of service
