It’s a White Christmas for Brace’s Bakery and flb

Brace’s Bakery, the Welsh bakery brand, has launched a seasonal pack design for its white sliced bread bags. flb, the Cheltenham-based branding and packaging agency, has designed the packaging.

To give it a festive winter look, the top of the pack features a white ‘snow effect’ cover, with the Brace’s ‘windmill’ motif debossed in the snow and snowflakes falling to the base of the pack. There is also a special Christmas message from the Brace’s family to its customers.  

The loaves go on shelf in the run up to Christmas accompanied by a seasonal price promotion.

Colin Mechan, Executive Creative Director at flb, said: “Our challenge with this project was to ensure a clear ‘white Christmas’ message without losing the variants’ current colours of red for medium sliced and blue for thick sliced.”

Scott Richardson, sales and marketing director at Brace’s, said: “flb has created a really Christmassy pack design that should help us to gain maximum exposure for our brand at this key time of year.”
